Group Study Room Policy
The Library exists to serve the students, faculty, and staff of Ensign College. As part of that service the library provides access to study space for individuals and groups in an environment that nurtures learning. As part of the library space, four private study rooms are available during all library hours.
Study rooms may be reserved by students or faculty for up to two hours a day per user. Reservations may be renewed up to one time per day per group, based on availability. Empty study rooms are open to use by groups or individuals on a first come, first served basis. Students with reservations take precedence over those without reservations. If a room is not occupied within 15 minutes of the reservation time, the room becomes open on a first come, first served basis.
Study room users are responsible for the care and handling of audiovisual equipment in the study room during the time of their reservation. A computer cable and remote control for the projector in Room 420 may be checked out for 2 hours from the 3rd floor circulation desk. Library staff are available for assistance with any of televisions and media players available in the study rooms.
